The Yavapai County Junior Rodeo Association (YCJRA) was founded in 2023 with one mission in mind—to support Arizona's youth through the sport of rodeo while preserving the values and traditions of the Western way of life.
More than just competition, YCJRA is committed to building confidence, character, sportsmanship, and leadership in the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls. Through rodeo, young competitors learn responsibility, respect, perseverance, and the importance of supporting one another both in and out of the arena.
YCJRA proudly welcomes families with youth who are 18 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026, to become part of a growing community dedicated to keeping Western heritage alive in Central Arizona.
